Worth Umpires Chapter. -I agree to abide by the guidelines set forth by the Board of Directors of the Alliance-Greater Ft. Worth Umpires Chapter. -I agree and understand that all annual Alliance Chapter and TASO dues and all TASO Clinic and Testing requirements must be met in order to officiate any level of games; and achieve requirements set forth by the Alliance-Greater Ft. Worth Chapter Board of Directors to receive Playoff assignments. -I agree to manage my schedule in Arbiter and keep my blocks up to date. I understand that all assignments will be sent as “accepted”. I understand that givebacks should be rare and for emergency use, and only with a valid excuse. -I agree that I will always act in a professional manner, and I will not use any tobacco products, alcohol or illegal substances, while in uniform and/or representing the Alliance -Greater Ft. Worth Umpires Chapter and abide by the Code of Ethics of Official’s as published by TASO. -I agree to communicate with my partner(s) prior to any assignment to coordinate game logistics and coverage. In addition, I agree on arriving at the prescribed time before the game to get into uniform and pregame the assignment. -Although we encourage building relationships with School Administrators and Coaches, I agree to keep my communication with them professional and relevant to the game. I will not solicit any future contests from School Administrators or Coaches. Furthermore, I agree to Umpire each contest with impartiality and without biases. -I agree that any violations of agreement may be sent to the Ethics Committee for review, and recommendations forwarded to the Board of Director’s for possible action if any, but not limited to such as revoking membership, fines, suspension, removal from future contests and probation. I agree that my membership with Alliance-Greater Ft. Worth Chapter and certification to officiate for Alliance-Greater Ft. Worth Chapter may be revoked by the Board of Directors if I fail to abide by this signed agreement and the rules set forth in the Alliance-Greater Ft. Worth Chapter Constitution and By-Laws, and Chapter dues for the current year will not be refunded. Any punishment actions from the above may prohibit said official from future membership in the Alliance-Greater Ft. Worth Umpires Chapter. -I understand that I am protected by a Liability and Accident policy while a member in good standing of TASO. Coverage applies while conducting officiating activities and subject to both policy limitations and a deductible on the accident policy. The TASO website should be referred to for coverage and other conditions. -If I am arrested or charged with any criminal charge greater than a traffic violation, I must report that event to the Chapter President and the TASO Executive Director within 72 hours of the arrest or conviction. I further understand that I may be suspended pending disposition of the charge. -I agree that in accepting game assignments from the Alliance-Greater Ft. Worth Chapter, that I am acting as an independent contractor and there is NO GUARANTEE of any game. -I have read the Alliance No Show – Game Turn-Back Policy and understand its potential consequences.
